Metin2 DE Guild Highscore Locked at 2.1B Points as Top 10 Freeze

Metin2 DE Guild Highscore Hits the Ceiling: Top 10 All Tied at 2.1 Billion Points

If you have checked the official German Metin2 guild leaderboard lately, you have probably noticed something strange. Every single guild in the top 10 is sitting at exactly 2,100,000,000 points. Not a few thousand apart, not even a few million. Identical. That number is the point cap, and the entire top of the ranking has run straight into it.

The snapshot from 03.05.2026 shows the full picture. Sturmbrut leads under guild leader PvPBotchar, followed by TaintedxLove, TapfiSpendis, Notfall, Phantom, DarkxLegion, OldWeshna, Thunder, GoXEasy, and Surrender. All ten show the same 2,100,000,000 points. The ranks are being decided by tiebreakers now, not by actual score gaps.

What the Numbers Actually Say

Here is the part that really gets people talking. The empire levels across the top 10 are all over the place. Sturmbrut, TaintedxLove, Notfall, and Thunder sit at level 20. TapfiSpendis is way out front at level 29. Phantom is at 19, DarkxLegion and OldWeshna are at 17. And then you have GoXEasy at level 4 and Surrender at level 5 sitting in ninth and tenth place.

So a level 4 guild is tied on points with a level 29 guild. That tells you the point system is not tracking empire progression in any meaningful way at the top end. Once you hit the cap, your actual guild strength stops mattering for the leaderboard.

This Is Not Just a Guild Problem

The individual highscore has the exact same issue. The top 10 characters are all sitting at 625,000,000 EXP and Champion Level 30, with identical Champion EXP of 50,385,113. SkiLzLager6, PoSiTiiiV, Augustiiner, lDayDate, DeepackxD, and the rest are all locked at the same values.

So this is not some guild-specific quirk. It is a systemic cap issue across the official German server's ranking system. The leaderboards have effectively stopped functioning as competitive rankings at the top.

Why This Matters for Competitive Play

For years, the guild highscore was one of the main ways to measure who was actually on top on the official DE server. Guilds grinded, organized, and competed for position. Now the top 10 is a flat line, and the order you see is basically arbitrary from a points perspective.

You have to wonder what this does to motivation. If you are in a guild pushing hard and you know the ceiling is 2.1 billion, what is the incentive to keep going once you hit it? The ranking becomes a formality rather than a goal.

There is also a practical problem for anyone scouting guilds. If you are a player looking for a strong guild to join, the highscore no longer tells you much. A level 4 guild and a level 29 guild look identical on the points column. You would have to dig into empire level, member activity, and reputation to get any real sense of strength.

What Gameforge Has Not Said

As of the latest update on 03.05.2026 at 16:53:08, there has been no official statement from Gameforge about the cap or whether it will be raised. The German wiki rules page does not address leaderboard caps either. For now, the community is left speculating about whether this is intentional design, a technical limitation, or something that will eventually be adjusted.

The Bigger Picture

This is not the first time Metin2 leaderboards have hit hard limits, but seeing the entire top 10 frozen at the same number is a new level of stagnation. Whether Gameforge addresses it or not, the competitive scene on the official DE server is currently without a working ranking system at the top. For a game that has always leaned on guild competition as a core driver, that is a problem worth watching.

If you are grinding for the top, keep an eye on this one. A leaderboard where everyone is tied is not much of a leaderboard at all.
